Jack Asbury Square

Located in Downtown Bluefield, Virginia, Jack Asbury Square received it's name from one of the towns past police chiefs that was extremely loved and honored. This park sits on the ground of the old town hall that was relocated to land closer to our school systems and library.

This park is centrally located in our downtown, with many businesses close by and a beautiful stream that flows into the New River. The park has a walking trail and bordered by town landscape.

Next to the square also in the downtown area has our welcome center, where you can visit and find out more about our area and the many different activities Tazewell County has to offer. The park is close to the Farmers Market shelter, where you can visit us each Friday morning in the summer time and pick up farm fresh or hand made materials. Also where you can support your local businesses! And a memorial in honor of all of the veterans who gave their lives for our freedom. You can visit the memorial at any time to pay your respects to our nation and those that served.

You can also come by for our annual Autumn Jamboree as our kick off to Fall. The Jamboree has many vendors set up, food, hay rides, fireworks, and much more!
